It's 2" mesh. Net is plenty strong enough for any type of  BASEBALL / SOFTBALL  BATTING CAGE NETTING    CLOSE IMPACT NETTING   FAST PITCH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL NETTING      SOCCER    HEAVY DUTY BACKSTOP/BARRIER.   Twine is over twice as big as the #7 and if your budget can buy this, its well worth the price. This net has been treated with UV inhibitors. This net is ideal for heavy duty sports. If you need a top rope / top and bottom rope border at an extra cost just let us know.   Great for fencing-heavy duty poultry garden netting.
