Good working HP K to Ka band Frequency Doubler W/Detector 13-20G in to 26-40GHz!
Good working HP K to KA band frequency doubler with a negative Detector output removed from an HP 940. K band input is 13-20GHz input @ 10-20dBm via a WR-51 waveguide flange. Ka output is 26-40GHz from a WR-28 waveguide flange. This is a great addition to your K band sweep generator to expand to 40GHz. The negative detector output must be resister terminated to allow the multiplier diode to self bias and becomes the leveling input to your sweeper. I have used these for many years with my Wiltron sweep generators and they work great. This assembly weighs over a pound. Please view all 5 photos.
