I have been asked by a close friend if I would find wonderful homes for her amazing ancient Pueblo /Hopi pottery (we think) and I am more than happy to do so.  She is parting with her collection which has been in her family for many years.  They have kept in a climate controlled environment for as long as she's had them.  There was a National Geographic in the box of pottery items that featured Pueblo pottery/clay art and her pieces are consistent with those pieces.  There also is some resemblance to Mayan art / pottery.  She has no idea (and neither do I) what exactly this (and five other pieces) are exactly.  Thus, any wisdom than anyone would pass my way would be greatly appreciated, especially if it helps more accurately describe this (or any other) item.  I can say that is is very old and very, very cool.  All of these ancient Pueblo/Hopi pottery pieces have tremendous detail.  I have take high-resolutions from every angle displayed below.
