    Description

    Maico Pilot Test Audiometer w/printer.
    Features
The Pilot Test was designed for the clinician who screens children and understands there is no "one size fits all” to hearing screening. The colorful design of the Pilot Test instantly puts the child at ease and allows the screener to quickly determine which method of screening is best for the child. The 2-in-1 design allows screeners options to actively and reliably move the testing process along. At the end of the “game” the child is rewarded with a pilot sticker for their active participation. The Pilot Test offers pure tone audiometry for standard testing and select picture audiometry for young children or when testing children with a disability.
The goal of hearing screening is to identify children with hearing loss. The Pilot Test gives you the tools to meet the goals of your facility.

    Pure Tone Audiometry
For children of school age, the device provides a manual pure tone audiometer with eleven frequencies. This full function air conduction audiometer can be used for screening measurements. With manual screening, you can choose the speed at which you present the tones. Easy fingertip operation gives you the flexibility to choose the frequency and hearing levels quickly and confidently. Results can be recorded on the included score pads or optional printer.
    Select Picture Audiometry
The Pilot Test offers an interactive game aiming to examine hearing and speech comprehension for children as young as three years old. The child is earning their "Pilot License" and having their hearing screened in a playful, simple, and fun way. The child listens to 10 sentences in descending volume. After each sentence, the child points to the corresponding picture on the picture board and you record the result.
    Perfect Hearing Tests for Kids
With the dual testing operation, the Pilot Test is the perfect testing method for each age. English and Spanish word lists allow testing for children who are not native speakers.
