True Antique/ Vintage Suitcase
Metal with a Leather Handle and Clasps &
Lock (comes with key!)
Brand: I think it is Samsonite, as it looks like others I see online, but I can't be for sure as there is no tag. There is however, and S P and Sun engraved by the key latch.
measures: 7" deep x 23" wide x 12" high
The bag is old and a bit beat up. Although I cannot be for sure, because this came out of my grandmother's house, I would suspect the age is about the 1910s/ 1920s; she may have even immigrated to the US (from Canada) with it? And I think it was actually my great grandmother's.
It has been used for storing Christmas Decorations for at least the last 60 years.
Cleaning out closets- maybe you'll find more than one item?!
