    Description

Wooden Shelf Sitters, 2 Historic Lighthouses
Charleston Lighthouse and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, by Sheila
These intricate, hand-painted shelf sitters replicate two real historical lighthouses and were all made by Sheila of Charleston, SC in the 1990s.  They are wooden blocks used for decorations over a door, on a shelf or in a cabinet and are in excellent condition.  They are all signed by the artist and include a history of each lighthouse on the back of the block.
This is a description of each:
    1.  Charleston Lighthouse, Morris Island, SC, built in 1767, Assateague Island Light, Virginia (built 1833), made in 1993, 8.25" tall x 2.5" wide, 4.1 oz.
    2.  Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Hatteras Island, built after the Civil War, 8" tall x 2.5" wide, 4 oz.
