    Description

    The
    European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal
    is a military award of the United States Armed Forces which was first created on November 6, 1942 by Executive Order 9265
    ]
    issued by President Franklin D. Roosevelt The medal was intended to recognize those military service members who had performed military duty in the European Theater (to include North Africa and the Middle East) during the years of the Second World War.
    Nice example of the EAME Campaign Medal. This is an early "crimped brooch" example, and comes with its original ribbon bar. We know this is one of the earlier medals because it lacks the darkened finish (faux patina in relief) that is found in later examples. This one does not come with the box.
    The medal remains in good condition, showing signs of age, use, and wear. Please see the pictures for more detail.
    Guaranteed 100% authentic for every respect for life. Be sure to see our other listings for more historical antiques and militaria. Be sure to follow our store as new inventory is added daily.
