Description
This is a great grouping of items attributed to a WWII Air Corps prisoner of war. This grouping is identified to S/Sgt. Marvin J. Miler, from Utah, who served as a B-24 aerial gunner with the 15th

Bomb Squadron during World War II. Sgt. Miller’s B-24 was shot down on his 20
th
mission on August 24, 1944. After bombing the target in Czechoslovakia, his B-24 was attacked by German fighters and received antiaircraft fire over Austria. Due to the damage his B-24 sustained, Sgt. Miller had to bail out and injured his foot and knee as he landed on the ground. He was soon captured and subsequently held as a prisoner of war in Stalag Luft IV in Germany. He was a POW until the end of the war. Included with this grouping is:
