WWII U.S. ARMY AIR CORPS GLIDER WING - JUAREZ PATTERN

Description

This is a fine World War II Army Air Corps Glider Pilot’s Juarez Pattern wing in sterling silver that remains in excellent condition. The wing is full size and measures 3 inches from wing tip to wing tip. It is extremely well struck and exhibits sharp detail. The reverse is incised with “STERLING” on the reverse of the shield. The original pin and roller locking catch are present and fully functional. The silver on both the obverse and reverse side is with an attractive age toned patina. Undamaged and excellent.
